Joyner tragedy as kayaker drowns in Lake Samsonvale

A woman has drowned while kayaking in Brisbane’s north.

Police and paramedics were called to Forgan Road boat ramp about 4.30pm on Friday.

The woman’s body was discovered on the banks of Lake Samsonvale.

It’s not believed there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

The investigation is in its infancy.
