Johnson agrees to back Proctor’s bid to beat biting charge – Sydney Morning Herald

The Sharks star has been in discussions with the Titans and accepted a request from the club to help save his friend’s season at the judiciary.

Johnson will provide a written statement, and has also made himself available to be cross-examined by NRL counsel Peter McGrath.
Proctor will argue there is no evidence he is responsible for a ‘red mark’ on Johnson’s forearm when he fronts the NRL judiciary, and will use Cronulla’s failure to provide an injury report as further grounds to get off a biting charge.
