Ingles fired back-to-back threes in the first quarter against Dallas Mavericks on Saturday to claim the record before letting out a roar.
Ingles is in his seventh season in the NBA, while the man he replaced atop the franchise list the legendary John Stockton played 17 seasons, and took 1,504 games to hit 845 threes more than three times the number of games it took Ingles to reach the record.
