Jumps rider penalised after incident at Pakenham in July
A verbal altercation followed by a shoulder barge in the scales area at Pakenham last month has resulted in a $1000 fine for jumps rider Tony Ihaka and a $300 fine for licensed stablehand Peter Cunningham.
Stewards finalised penalties for both Ihaka and Cunningham on Wednesday at the Cranbourne meeting, confirming the fines after the incident at the July 10 meeting.
