A controversial move will see millions of Australians receive pay cuts of $100 when the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Millions of Australians will receive $100 less in their fortnightly pay packets once the clock strikes midnight on New Years Eve.
From January 1, the JobSeeker supplement package will be slashed.
The supplemented payment will go down from $250 to $150.
That pay rate will continue until late-March at which point it will revert to pre-COVID levels.
But the Federal Governments decision to push ahead with the reduction has drawn criticism.
