As the Blue Diamond Stakes field continues to fall into place, Cindy Alderson is hoping her unbeaten colt Jigsaw can cement his place in the $1.5 million feature on February 20 with a top-three finish in Saturday’s Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude for colts and geldings (1110m).
The two-year-old homebred won comprehensively on debut at Geelong last month, with the runner-up Artorius franking the form with an impressive win at his next outing.
