Good news for jet-setters, with a new flight route to launch between the Gold Coast and Hobart today.
Jetstar has announced it will bring on the new flights from December, following confirmation that Tasmania’s borders will be open to most states from October 26.
There will be three return services a week, which will provide more than 1,200 seats between the two cities each week.
It’s expected to create around 90 local jobs, and pump around $11 million into the economy.
