Jaycar founder Gary Johnston dies ‘after a short illness’ – Sydney Morning Herald
The founder and managing director of Jaycar Electronics, Gary Johnston, has died two weeks after a cancer diagnosis.
Our thoughts are with Garys family and his respective business partners during this time, the club said on Facebook.
Mr Johnston was a co-patron of the Steve Waugh Foundation, dedicated to improving the quality of life for young people living with rare diseases.
His philanthropist wife, Kerry-Anne Johnston, is on the NSW Advisory Board for the Starlight Childrens Foundation and Charlie Teo Foundation.
