Jason Roberts denied bail after conviction quashed in Silk-Miller murders
A man accused of killing two police officers in one of Victoria’s most notorious murder cases has been refused bail.

Jason Roberts, 40, will have to continue his campaign for freedom from behind bars after the Supreme Court rejected his application.
Mr Roberts has spent more than 20 years in prison — more than half his life — over the killings of Sergeant Gary Silk and Senior Constable Rod Miller in 1998, but has long maintained his innocence.
