Jarryd Hayne’s individual accolades are on the verge of being stripped following his sexual assault conviction.
The former NRL star was found guilty of two counts of sexual intercourse without consent last week, with a sentencing hearing scheduled for May 6 in Newcastle.
Hayne has made it known that he intends to appeal the conviction but should he be unsuccessful, NRL officials believe they will have no choice but to strip the 33-year-old of his rugby league honours, according to Nine NRL reporter…
