Santos CEO Kevin Gallagher sees potential for zero-emissions LNG exports from Darwin and Papua New Guinea.

Both are also pursuing work in hydrogen, with Santos examining a project tied to its CCS venture. Woodside has linked up with several partners to explore different elements in the hydrogen supply chain, including joining three Japanese companies to examine large-scale exports of hydrogen as ammonia, which can be blended with coal in power generation to reduce emissions.
