Japan and South Korea see surge of suicides among young women, raising new questions about pandemic stress – Washington Post
There are no comprehensive studies of suicide rates and lockdowns, but the data from East Asia has added to the debate.
But Japan and South Korea are among the few countries to issue current data on suicides, with most countries taking a year or two to issue their numbers.
