Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie Redknapp wasn’t exactly impressed by the new Spurs midfielder as he made his debut following his summer switch from Southampton
Jamie Redknapp has questioned whether new Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is the man Jose Mourinho needs in his midfield.
Hojbjerg made his Premier League debut for Spurs as they fell to Everton in their season opener on Sunday.
And Redknapp wasn’t particularly impressed by the Dane’s performance, questioning whether the £15million might have been better spent on a different type of midfielder, though the Sky Sports pundit did admit he was basing that view on very limited evidence.
