Jaclyn Symes sworn in to replace Jill Hennessy as Victorian Attorney-General

Labor’s leader in the Victorian Upper House, Jaclyn Symes, has been sworn in as the state’s new Attorney-General following Jill Hennessy’s shock resignation last week.

Ms Symes was previously minister for agriculture, regional development and resources.

Under a small reshuffle announced by Premier Daniel Andrews, Ms Symes will retain the resources portfolio while the other two will be taken over by new Cabinet minister Mary-Anne Thomas.
