‘It’s really stupid’: Max Verstappen hits back at ‘incredible’ motivation claims – Fox Sports
Max Verstappen has hit back at suggestions he’s lacking motivation in 2020, labelling such claims as “incredible” and “stupid”.
The Red Bull driver is second in the drivers championship but is already a distant 47 points behind Lewis Hamilton, who once again looks unstoppable in his imperious Mercedes.
Outside of the Mercedes of Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas, Verstappen has been relatively unchallenged, leading to suggestions that the season is a bore for the Dutchman.
