Victorias Country Cob Bakery has taken home the coveted prize for Australias best pie at the Baking Association of Australias annual pie and pastie competition, which was held in Sydney over the weekend.
There were almost 2000 entries from more than 300 Aussie bakeries across dozens of categories. But after three days of serious pie and pastie tasting, the judges declared brothers Ryan and Chan Khuns flaky pepper-beef pie the winner.
