It’s been a busy couple of long weekends for our surf lifesavers and lifeguards patrolling Queensland beaches. Last weekend a massive 84% of rescues occurred outside the flags! With still a month of school holidays to go please remember that by swimming between the red and yellow flags, you know you’ll be swimming at the safest part of the beach where we are on duty to assist should you get in trouble. “She’ll be right”, won’t save your life.
