‘It wasn’t OK’: Ricciardo reveals awkward first meeting with new McLaren car – Fox Sports
The most exciting part of the start of a new Formula One season as a driver is the moment you get to sit in the new car for the first time.
And for Daniel Ricciardo, it was set to be even more exciting as he sat in a McLaren for the first time in his career after making the move from Renault at the end of last year.
But the excitement quickly faded to awkwardness as the Aussie was unable to even fit in the season.
Ricciardos hips were the problem as they prevented him from sitting properly in a chassis that has become tighter on space than ever before.
