‘It was a long way from dangerous’: NRL greats slam ‘soft’ penalty – Fox Sports
The Eels were gifted a confounding penalty in the first half against the Panthers after Api Koroisau and Viliame Kikau were accused of a dubious dangerous throw.
The incident in the 28th minute saw Clint Gutherson driven into the turf from a tackle from Koroisau and Kikau, but Greg Alexander and Braith Anasta were convinced that the Panthers duo did nothing wrong.
That didnt deserve a penalty, Alexander said.
