It was a big day for our Cairns-based rescue510 helicopter crew on Friday. The first part of the day involved flying to a remote property to attend a farming incident. As a result of the extended flying time, we called in on our friends at the Oasis Road House for an urgent refuel.
On the way back to Cairns the crew got a task to The Barron Gorge for a person in distress.
Our crews are highly-trained to attend a diverse range and geographically challenging rescue missions across Far North QLD. It is our task at Rescue510 and of QLD Government Air Rescue to keep the community of Queensland safe.
