Paul Kent and Phil Rothfield were involved in a heated back and forth over Sharks playmaker Chad Townsend’s send off for a shoulder charge on Knights star Kalyn Ponga.
Townsend was sent from the field and accepted a three-game ban for his brain snap tackle that saw Ponga floored and Rothfield felt he got off lightly.
Absolutely, I thought it was really good because we dont often see send offs and I thought it was a great decision, Rothfield said of the call on NRL 360.
