‘It hurts’: Dumped F1 star breaks silence over brutal Red Bull snub – Fox Sports
Alex Albon has broken his silence after being dumped by Red Bull in favour of Mexican veteran Sergio Perez for the 2021 F1 season.
F1s musical chairs in 2020 seemingly left Perez without a seat next year after Racing Point (now Aston Martin) signed Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll, while the likes of Ferrari, Renault and McLaren also locked in driver line-ups early.
But Albons future was never secure and, after a second lacklustre season for the energy drink outfit, his contract wasnt renewed.
