‘It hurt’: Newcastle veteran announces immediate retirement
Newcastle Knights playmaker Blake Green has announced his retirement from professional rugby league, effective immediately.
The 34-year-old announced his decision on Tuesday, revealing last weekends match against the North Queensland Cowboys would be his last in the NRL.
