Israel Folau has clashed with a reporter during a fiery press conference in Brisbane this morning, as he pushes for a return to rugby league with the Gold Coast’s Southport Tigers.
Asked whether he is
homophobic, the dual international said he “believes what the Bible says”, questioning whether the journalist had also read it.“I didn’t write the Bible. That’s God’s written word and I believe that wholeheartedly.”
