Is Monday a public holiday for Anzac Day 2021? Answers for NSW, Victoria, Queensland and all states in Australia
With one of Australia’s most poignant public holidays fast approaching on Sunday, many Australians will be asking the question: Do we get a public holiday for Anzac Day?
The short answer is yes, but also no.
It depends which state you are in.
Because not each state treats public holidays that land on a weekend the same, not everyone will automatically have a public holiday on Monday.
