Gov. Newsom now says that everyone 16 and older will be eligible to get vaccinated in California by mid-April.
That is raising questions for some about whether or not it is safe to get the vaccine, especially for pregnant women who were excluded from the clinical trials.
“It is safe, as a general statement, to get the COVID vaccines when pregnant or lactating,” said Dr. David Arnoff, professor and junior chair in medicine at Vanderbilt University.
