In September 2020, Unifor announced a labor detail with Ford in Canada that includes a new 6.8-liter engine for use in the F-150 and Mustang.
Well, this is certainly an interesting turn of events. Before proceeding, know that we presently have more questions than answers regarding this Mustang development but one thing is for certain. The president of a major Canadian trade union for auto workers said point-blank that a Ford 6.8-liter engine is coming, and that it will be used in the Ford F-150 and Mustang. As you can imagine, however, the issue isn’t nearly as simple as that.
