Nurses have been knocked for six and unable to work for up to 14 weeks after contracting Covid working on the frontline.
And shocking evidence presented to the special Oireachtas Covid-19 committee has heard of some of the severe side effects suffered – including “vivid hallucinations”.
Staff nurse, Siobhan Murphy, was before the committee to tell how she has suffered chronic fatigue since contracting the virus and hasnt been able to return to work for 14 weeks.
