As Ireland begins to exit lockdown, there’s positive news from the hospitals
With Ireland set to begin exiting lockdown this day next week, there has been a boost for hopes of a further lifting of restrictions as the number of people in hospital with Covid-19 has fallen dramatically.
The situation has improved in a major way since Christmas thanks to the vaccine rollout as well as the efforts of the public in fighting the virus.
From a peak of 2,020 back in January, the number of people in hospital has come all the way down to 260.
