Australians with IPL deals have the chance to put their name forward for the World Cup squad later this year
The Indian Premier League is set to help shape Australia’s Twenty20 World Cup squad as coach Justin Langer mulls some key selection calls.
The T20 World Cup remains the only major men’s cricket tournament Australia are yet to win, with India to host the next edition in October-November.
Australia’s recent T20 series loss to New Zealand, which Langer watched on television as right-hand man Andrew McDonald called the shots on the ground, helped provide some selection pointers.
