Interest rising in one-shot vaccine as arrival nears – Jacksonville Journal-Courier

Johnson & Johnson’s one-dose COVID-19 vaccine is headed to at least one west-central Illinois health clinic.It will be delivered next week to Greene County Health Department, administrator Molly Peters said.The Johnson & Johnson vaccine, manufactured by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, is different from the two-dose Moderna and Pfizer vaccines that have been available. Aside from being a single-shot vaccine, it doesn’t require the special refrigeration the other two vaccines need.
