Victory are on the hunt for a new boss after the axing of Grant Brebner.
Former Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has been appointed interim coach this week following Brebners sacking.
Zenga, who represented Italy and Inter Milan as a goalkeeper from the late 1970s to the early 1990s, has been without a coaching position since leaving his post as head coach of Serie A outfit Cagliari in August last year.
