Instagram to give NRL stars power to block trolls – Sydney Morning Herald
The social media giant will launch changes to its platform within weeks designed to prevent online abuse to celebrities and high-profile athletes.

The changes are expected to be made to the platform within weeks. The NRL have been briefed about them and they also received the backing of the Rugby League Players Association on Wednesday.
We welcome and applaud these changes announced by Instagram, RLPA chief executive Clint Newton said. These critical steps must continue to be taken by social media platforms to protect the community and our members from the abuse they can be subjected to online.
