An inquest into the death of teenager Alex Braes has heard the chance his life could have been saved at Broken Hill Hospital was “small”.
- Alex Braes presented to hospital with moderate knee pain
- Experts cannot agree on an exact cause of death
- But may have died from an infection from an ingrown toenail
The 18-year-old TAFE student died at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney on September 22, 2017, after being transferred from the local hospital.
