Injured hiker could spend night on mountain after 10m fall

The man in his 20s was hiking with another man when he fell ten metres at the popular hiking spot, Mount Superbus, just before midday today.
He suffered potential spinal injuries due to the fall with complaints of upper and lower back pain.Emergency services were called to the scene but due to the location he could not be winched to safety by a rescue helicopter.But SES workers have gained access to the man, bringing supplies and treating him while a specialist response…
