A US influencer who used the smokey conditions of the California wildfires as a backdrop for a photoshoot has “clarified” her actions amid online backlash, while fans come to her defence.
Last week, Colette LeClair posed for photos on a San Francisco beach wearing a vivid orange ballgown, the shade almost matching that of the horizon behind her.
The skies over western US states have been choked with smoke in recent days due to devastating fires, creating a hazy, “apocalyptic” appearance.
