Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo will get the country’s first shot of the coronavirus vaccine.

Mr Widodo says he would get the first shot to reassure people about safety.

He revealed the plan while announcing Indonesia would provide free coronavirus vaccines to citizens when it started its vaccine program.

The country, the world’s fourth most populous nation, received 1.2 million doses from China’s Sinovac Biotech in its first vaccine shipment earlier this month.
