New Delhi, India India has madeimpressive gains in its fightagainst malaria, as the number of cases and deaths caused by themosquito-bornedisease has seen a marked drop in the country, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
The number of malaria cases in India has dropped from nearly 20 million in 2000 to just 5.6 million in 2019, the WHO said in its latest World Malaria Report on Monday.
