‘In disbelief’: The shock Tasmania qualifying performer – Supercars.com
Zane Goddard was the big shock from Sundays two qualifying sessions at the Beaurepaires Tasmania SuperSprint.
Tickford Racings Cameron Waters clinched the pole positions for Races 7 and 8, but the latter session saw Goddard qualify an outstanding fourth.
It marked a significant jump on Goddards previous best start of 14th, which he achieved on Saturday.
His previous best prior to the weekend was 16th at Sydney Motorsport Park last season.
“Im sort of in disbelief,” the Matt Stone Racing driver said.
