Bulldogs legend Chris Anderson has slammed suggestions he is pulling the strings at Canterbury as the club hunts for a new coach following Dean pay’s decision to walk.

The Bulldogs are attempting to lure Trent Barrett to the club on a three-year deal starting in 2021.
Anderson has a long history with the Bulldogs as a premiership-winning player and coach and
was recently a member of the reform ticket, headed by wife and now Canterbury chair Lynne, that rose to power in February 2018.
