Frustrated five-time premiership Hawk Dermott Brereton has pleaded for more holding the ball free kicks, saying tacklers wishing to win the ball back arent being rewarded enough.
Breretons urging comes in the wake of Saints coach Brett Rattens post-game comments on Friday night, questioning why his side only won three holding the ball free kicks from 87 tackles during sides 21-point loss to Geelong.
Only 25 free kicks were paid for the entire game, with Geelong narrowly winning the count 13-12.
