Ilse has been steadily knitting trauma teddies for her local Sarina emergency services for almost ten years now, and today delivered her 500th teddy to the ambulance station.

These teddies have provided comfort and joy to hundreds of families in her tight-knit community, and given each bear takes over three hours to make, Ilse puts plenty of care into each one.
