IGA operator Metcash prepares for online shopping foray as sales surge – Sydney Morning Herald
The supplier of Australia’s 1600-strong IGA supermarket network has accelerated its foray into online grocery delivery.

Metcash is hoping to show off the service at an investor day in March, with Mr Adams confident the system will be in time be able to compete with the more developed offerings at Woolworths and Coles.
“One thing about coming at it late is it allows you to do some ‘digital leapfrogging’,” he said. “So we’ve actually been able to put features in there that the chains don’t even have.”
