Part of the All Blacks’ sustained success has been a willingness to learn skills from other sports, but TJ Perenara’s reported NRL links could be a bridge too far….
A lot of people have been very positive and I have no qualms with that.
I dont know Perenara well, but I think its a big risk and an even bigger ask. Even though the roles look similar and hes a fantastic athlete, itd be a bold play.
I think Perenara is a wonderful player, but he doesnt have a league background, which will put him behind the eight ball.
