Off-contract at the end of 2021, Morris has led the Sharks to back-to-back finals appearances since taking over from Shane Flanagan at the start of the 2019 season.
Morris sought a contract extension late last season, but was knocked back by CEO Dino Mezzatesta and the board, who wanted to see how the team fared to start the 2021 season.
