‘I was taken aback’: Green suprised by warm welcome from Indians – Sydney Morning Herald
The emerging all-rounder is eager for another shot for Australia in the Twenty20 series against India after making his international debut.
Green was thrust into the action despite a modest 50-over record at state level in the third ODI, with Australia already having captured the series by going 2-0 up.
Australia’s 13-run defeat was compounded by a calf injury suffered by Ashton Agar while batting in the run chase, with the spinner due to have scans on Thursday night.
