I was out of line, says Hardwick – The Age
Richmond coach Damien Hardwick has admitted it was wrong for him to lay the blame of Sunday’s low-scoring game against Sydney at the Gabba at the feet of opposition coach John Longmire.
“I was out of line and I was probably frustrated and let the situation get the better of me. I rang Horse (John Longmire) and apologised … lesson learned on my behalf and we move on,” he said.
Hardwick said the fact the Tigers were in control of the game and leading the Swans meant they had no incentive to change tactics, however they had spent this week working on improving the connection between their midfielders and forwards.
