I honestly believe the council should seriously consider re-instating a tram service from South Bank out along Old Cleveland Road to Camp Hill, or Queen Street Mall to Brunswick Street Mall as a tourist attraction, if for no other reason.
But NOT with those ugly space-age looking things like they have on the Gold Coast, but with the original Brisbane Trams! Sadly however, I think that bringing back a full tramway network would be both uneconomical and impractical with today’s volume of traffic.
