‘I haven’t had breakfast for years’: Job search to get tougher as JobKeeper ends – Sydney Morning Herald
There are eight people on JobSeeker payments for each job available, with that number set rise after the JobKeeper program ends.

ACOSS chief executive Cassandra Goldie said from this week, Australia would revert to having one of the lowest rates of unemployment payment in the OECD the second lowest behind Greece.
The coronavirus supplement for JobSeeker and Youth Allowance recipients will be cut from $150 to $50. Dr Goldie said JobSeeker should be increased to at least $65 a day, just above the poverty line.
The payment will fall from $52.11 a day to $44.97 from March 31. Youth Allowance will fall from $44.37 a day to $37.23.
