Young Giant Sam Taylor has detailed his mystery health scare that saw him lose 10kg, become briefly paralysed in his hips and lower back and had him fearing he wouldn’t be able to walk again, let alone play footy.
Yet Taylor, who played a crucial role in the Giants surge to a Grand Final in 2019, is optimistic to think he could play again this season a remarkable goal considering what hes endured over the past month.
After playing in the Giants Round 4 win over Collingwood, Taylors post-game aches turned into intolerable pain. He initially thought it was delayed fatigue, but it quickly led to one of the worst nights Ive ever had.
